Went out to the outer reef yesterday and we managed 4 coral trout, 3 red throat emporors, a 5 foot bronze whaler, half a trevally(minus the shark tax ) and a nice stripy.

The hammer head that came up to the boat after the bronzie was big enough to stick an outboard on and go fishing on it

I hear there good mangrove jack n travally at tallbudgra qld gold coast of land base fishing I wish I was still live on the coast there but in a better place now n good golden pearch n yellow belly here in stanthorpe caught a golden peach 5kgs bloody good fighting fish on 8lb line

It would be a good tool for handling flathead. I'm sick of being spiked.
Much easier to clean the slime then from a towel or rag.
Would I buy one, probably not.
Would I use it if I had it, probably yes.
