I dress my green wheel with a diamond tool and sharpen knife that way edge up, usually get a 6mm-8mm edge.
but its not concaved as much as I would like I'd like it to be.

I love the concave look.
But the only way I've seen is a twin wheel setup..
How do normal folk do it??
Cheers

smallest radius on the linisher. need to make a jig to hold blade steady, not too hard to do.
blood groove is easy

As we all love pics heres some more::: The grey chefs knife is my first ceramic knife, feels weird cuts great, just don't expect to cut chicken bones with it.
The other is a pic of some blanks I need to finish including my Seki City one at the bottom, the Damascus bar is Alabama ladder patern, which looks like rain drops.
and the knife on its own is yet to be finished, handle is streaky buff horn ,camel bone and burr walnut with a red spacer behind the lot.
I do have a plan for a handle on a full Damascus blank as a skeleton look, I have small dremel die grinders and will remove most handle material so you can see the Damascus through the handle.
Most cut and weld mild steel on for handle end to save Damascus, Thinking camel bone against the black/white of blade

This arrived today just a GP knife for around camp and the river,
The fixed blade is just shy of 4" long, polished stainless bolster, 2 timbers with stainless highlight.
weighty knife for its size,
@ Growler have you thought about how you change those bolts on your knife to something a tad neater

i have an old folding buck knife that has been around the world with me, always had it on the belt when riding the bike but nowadays i don't take it far as the coppers see them and confiscate them, it was given to me by the ex about 35yrs ago.
2003 gu3 td42tdi sold 😞 bloody gvm towing crap. Bt50 3500kg gvm.
when I go fishing or hunting I have my folded buck in a sheath on my belt .
have had no problems to date, when Pig hunting we always left our knives in the 4x4.
I like the horizontal sheaths for folded knives, less visable
