It looks ok on the 40 but not that other thing. What about just cut the gutters out altogether and weld new steel in the gap??

The Jeeps do look good. It would need to be large pipe or big pads otherwise itd look sh1t I rekon

Just weld 25mm heavy wall tube into the roof gutters full length then down the A pillars.
Roof Sliders are the sh1t mate! Wish I had put them on when I did my strip down. Will fit them if I ever do it again.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
