Twisted my nuts up to 133nm, then I heard a click and my bar went slack, hope I haven't broken something

First time I have read this thread, I previously thought it was something to do with checking for cancer.
I have not checked my nuts since I got the car, guess I better do it.
Is it a problem with steel rims or just alloys?
From the previous threads and pics both, Heres one I found at a shop,
possibly could have used it on my trailer but other one was to far gone

So on a serious note, the GU has probs with loose nuts? Is that why my GU IV has the indicator caps that go over the the nuts, and is it standard?

I went to a catholic private school so the Marist Brothers checked all our nuts regularly.
