Went for a drive to Healesville today for a day out, we had massages and had lunch. While my Missus was having her massage, I went for a drive into the Yarra Ranges National Park and went on the first track I could find, which was the Dom Dom Creek Track.
It was very easy track with soft red mud with some wet spots. It was fun and a bit slippery going back up the hill.

Fitted my side steps and scrub bars.
Then took it for a quick spin to the beach with the dog.

Be marginal if anything at the moment, I haven't fitted the winch yet though.
I've got the winch apart and it's barely been used going by the look of it (or rebuilt previously). Going to give it a clean, grease it, seal 'er up and put a couple of breathers in before I fit it back up.
Might even replace the solenoids too.

Didn't do anything to it today, but noticed today after I fished oiled the roof the other day, the oil had seeped down the front windscreen channels and rubber section and down the rear window rubber sections. If anywhere needs corrosion protection it's these areas that don't really get anything. Oil is nice and tacky. Happy days!

Loosely wound the cable onto the winch so its not hanging around the garage, will do a proper spool on when time permits

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
