    MQ 160 Suspension

To all the patrol 'e-seers' out there, what front & rear nissan independant suspension (that includes the entire system [axles, staberliser arms, etc.])can be fitted to the MQ 160 chassis, whtout to much mods? Thanks

    None without major modifaction.

Coil spigns have been done but its a lot of work - cheaper to go to a GQ

    Prophet1,

There is a company here in Australia called Outback Suspension in Croydon, Vic who add coils to the middle of the leaf springs.

I did it with mine and it rode quite well.

Look them up on the Net and take a look at their stuff. They may send you a kit for you to install yourself

Too costly, many have tried, not many have succeeded
The price a GQ can be had for, its a far better alternative
New shocks, pins, bushes, nice spring packs can be fine , but its a commercial based 4x4 ,not a sports car
There designed to rattle the false teeth out, thats the fun bit
