Was getting so fed up with the OEM's, these work a treat, took a bit of fitting as Bill said but once one was done the other was so easy.
    Thanks Bill, Macca
No worries Macca. If anything - mine are a bit sensitve. If the car is a bit out of level when putting on the belt it sometimes does not pull out. Not sure if there is an adjustment for that. I'll give them a call and ask.

BTW - mine are grey and they suit fine, especially as I have replaced both front ones. You may see a difference if you only replace one.

Same here, did find they came out once level and moving which suprised me.
That was the main problem I had installing them - getting the belt to come out.
Put retractor in the vice and it worked. Figured it was level/movement problem.
Put them in the ute and bolted firm.... perfect.
    Thanks again Macca

    Hi Guys...

Today I tried to register my GU in WA. Still had the SA plates...

Do you know the reason why they do not let me pass the inspection?

    Tic, Tac, Tic, Tac,....

    Yes, the seatbelts...

Fortunately I've been able to check that all your comments and solutions are aligned with the ones I've found over the Net.

I will try to get the kit sold by Nissan tomorrow, but also work it out a deep clean to the belts and a apply a good layer of Nulon Ezy Glide to the retractile mechanism.

Hopefully it works... I have another inspection next week!!!

Try the above A cheap Fix.
Belt Needs to be cleaned as well
I took Bob advise. Cleaned the belt and bit of sandpaper helped them work better for now. I'll give em another clean but they retract better so I'm happy.

It's not easy to fit a piece of sandpaper in between the top fixture, so I don't think you will be sanding for a long time. The more you take off the bigger the gap and easier for the belt to slide through. Just sand for a few minutes and test it until it slides through easily. I also cleaned the belt as it was dirty which you might need to do.

As long as you make the Fitting smooth it does not matter how much you sand off (Within Reason)
Just use a Fine Sandpaper to finish off as the Belt needs a smooth Surface to slide through.
Wash the Belt with Dishwashing Liquid in a warm water solution
