Lucky for us one of the fire fighters on call lived up the road from us and he was first to get here and stopped our house from going up!!

We are fairly shaken but no one was hurt. Every one has now just gone.
Great to hear no one was injured and help was only up the street.

By your location (Eyre Peninsula) I visualise your nearest neighbours are 500k's away. Don't know why??????

Lucky for us that wasn't so. Would have been a whole different outcome.

Was very scary as we thought it was going to explode and my friend and I were sitting next to it.

When the fireies arrived the police arrived as well and cordoned off the street.

The shock of it all is just starting to hit us.

Good to hear no one was hurt snicko. Would be very unsettling not knowing where it would all stop, once started.

Been trying to get the yard under control after a long time of only doing the basics, ie. mowing.
Gave the chainsaw and axe a good workout, lots of trees and shrubbery to take to the dump.
Having a drink now, so cheers if you are too!
