Hi Arman, those many people are very wrong.
I'm not even sure about top speed of a TD42 N/A...I will take a stab and say 130km/h
0-100 is about a solid minute...lol
I've gotten mine to 145km/h took agers but it got there. (would do more if I wanted too) This was on a sealed road in the middle of no where btw. Im no reckless hoon. Mine sits comfortable on 110km/h when I travel long distances.
My main point of this thread isn't drag race or something like that.If I travel long distence on hiighway. It will be very pain ful if its dn't get to 100 at least.Time does fact.
Mate if ya can't pull 100kmh on the flat with a td42 you've got problems. I can sit easily in 110kmh on a flat straight rd and still overtake......come to a hill and we got a whole new story hahahahaha :-)
IF YA DONT GET STUCK YA AINT TRYIN HARD ENOUGH........OR YA TOOK THE CHICKEN TRACK![]()
WARNING: TOWBALLS USED WITH SNATCHSTRAPS DO KILL!!
Just need to be conscious of hills approaching and speed up if safe and not to worry about people tailgating either.
I used to get paranoid with a car or two up your a$$ up hills and pushed the non turbo to it's limits just to keep some impatient idiot happy behind you. I soon learnt to say stuff ya, put it back to 3rd and cruise up the hill...lol
lol its a man thing!

A naturally aspirated (no turbo) TD 42 is not made for speed. Not only is it slow, but the owners sometimes brag about how slow they are, and even spend thousands of dollars to make their slow cars even slower.
That said, the former owner of my TD 42 said that before he gave me the keys, he tested my car to 150 kph and it still had throttle. I have not tried this myself, but the former owner was 110% honest with me in every way, so I have no reason to doubt him.
