Same same here as far as job security goes. When on fixed term contract was always waiting if the work was gunna be there. One months notice an it could all be over. However same on full time salary only gotta give us 1 month if all goes ar5e over. But the higher authority must know of up n coming work to full time two of us so feel "safer"

It looked like all or nothing.. My 'fixed term' contract basically entitled me to bugger all at the end.. 'There's no work, seeya later'.. But in the same token, it's looking pretty bad for most of the casuals.. Going to be the quietest it's been in 5 years !! It is a huge company, and if you ask, you can pretty much go anywhere else they have work... I was offered work at Olympic Dam, but preffered to stay here...
