Flinders Trip after the big rains in 2008
These are some pictures I dug out from our trip to the Flinders, just after the first decent rains in 4 years. The roads were like brown toothpaste and the main Blinman to Parachilna Road was closed after we went through to Parachilna.
The goernment sent a truck and water trailer to damp the dust down that weekend, and the trailer stayed stuck in the middle of the Blinman to Parachilna Road for a week. They got the truck out with a grader but tore all the road up in the process.
Good fun in the mud though!!
