I’ve been a member here for fair while now and have just been stalking the corridors.
I finally decided to do an intro as I’m almost at the point where I can afford to start mods and replacing bits and pieces.
I have a 2009 GU, CRD manual and have owned it from new. Due to circumstances I’ve only ever been able to get the usual bits and pieces done over the years. Muddies, winch bar (no winch....yet), dual batteries (but the 2nd is now dead), lights, racks, onboard ARB compressor (now not working), catch can, Ultra Gauge, etc.
Have been tossing up trading her in for a while but just can’t bring my self to do it. So we’ve made our mind up to keep it. Fix her up and start mods to become a really capable tourer.
On the list of mods.
4” superior eng lift.
All the touring gear.
Winch.
Exhaust.
Gauges.
Remainder of NADS parts.
New spotties.
Rear bar.
Side steps/scrub bars.
And you get the idea.
We have just relocated back over from WA back to NSW and are now in the Illawarra and settled in enough now to start exploring.
