Keyway damage:
Dirty oil, but no sludge build up! My current engine has a fair bit of sludge under the rocker cover.
Rocker cover is clean enough to eat off! Not bad for an almost 31 year old donk.
The top thermostat cover was very clean too, as was the radiator in the car, the only corrosion was a small patch of surface rust starting due to sitting around. The rest of the engine still had coolant in it, so it should be fine. That once again, is better than my current donk when I got it, which had stop leak poured in it by a previous owner to stop a leaking radiator and that resulted in a hard, black build up throughout the cooling system.
