We are planning a day trip to Wesburn which is going to have some extreme hardcore 4X4 driving, on Saturday the 30th of January.
We have planned to hit Ellis track as the major attraction, if time allows we will have a look at Cemetery Track and some others in that area. If we still have time we will try and do Rock Track in Toolangi as well. The day will be ended by pizzas at AB's house in Christmas Hills. PANEL DAMAGE IS A VERY REAL POSSIBILITY on this trip and almost guaranteed. We will be as cautious as possible and use a spotter at every tricky section to limit damage and make it as safe as possible. I have some photos on my phone of cars that have rolled and taken out the entire side of the car on these tracks which I will upload a bit later on.
Minimum requirements:
33" mud tyres
A winch in very good working order. Make sure it works before you come!
Front diff lock
Your own recovery equipment
Recommended equipment:
Rear locker
35" mud tyres
Rear quarter chop & rear bar
Rock sliders
A passenger as a spotter and to run the winch
Going to limit this trip to 5 cars, any more will take way too long to do the tracks, so far 3 spots are taken.
