F##########ck water pump just went. We will still be there in the morning getting it sorted now this car is so much fun to drive I think lol as I've now done 1100ks and its taken 5gs of my money if it wasn't a patrol I'd be having everyone over for a fire
That usually happens after you have had a cooling system fault mate, i would have thought you would have done it when you did the head??
Would have but it seemed in good order and it failed today 2weeks after head etc was done
From experience every time i fix a cooling system like a radiator or welch plugs the seal on the water pump goes, i'm pretty sure its from the glycol in the coolant so i warn my customers every time coz unless its been on the car for less then 12months they will leak within 1 hr to a month. I've had them leak soon as the car has gotten to NOT on many occasions, but lucky for you that you picked up now and not after it drained the cooling system hey!!
