    uhf ariel trrough fire wall

I am trying to get the ariel coax cable from the engine bay through the fire wall into the cab, on a 2008 gu 3.0 td , are there any spare holes that any body knows of? how do others do this? i was trying to avoid cutting through the side of existing cable glands. or is this the only way to do it?

Straight through the middle of said gland or there should be more than a couple of bungs in the fire wall. Take your pick but just straight through the bung mate.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Yes there is a hole straight into your cab,
run the cable along the passengerside of the engine bay, and right infront of the passenger glove compartment, down lowwer.... on the firewall,
you will see a very large grommett, size of about 6 cm oval, and its black.

Pull it out, and slide the coax in there, then put grommett back in.
Make sure the cable isnt tight as it passes through the firwall/grommet sanwich

And you will have a very nice seal, once you put grommett back

it pops through, just under the dash, just above the highest point of the carpet, on the passenger side..
Like right behind the glove box.

    good luck !
