    Gu 8 ?

Looks like i am about to jump out of the land rover camp into the nissan camp and buy a new
2012 st. having driven a few GU's am thinking it is going to be a welcomed change . my only concern atm is i have heard that there may be some issues with fitting a lift kit to the new GU8 because of the VDC. can any of you that are in the know tell me if this is right or not?

    Thanks

Modifying vehicles with stabillity control can be done but opens up a bit of a legal and insurance minefield. Manufactures put a lot of effort into getting their stabillity programs spot on, even small changes to the vehicle (tyres, suspension etc) can have a major affect on vehicle behavior.

Hmmm, interestin. I've been speaking to a fair few 4x4 shops re GU8 and accessories inc lift. No mention of any issues but they probably didn't know about stability control......

Do you know what the issues are? Personally I can see any problems.

Went to local nisan dealer and asked the salesmen. Got lots of blank looks and told they haven't been told that from nissan. I wouldn't take that as gospel though, they are pretty lack lustre. They did say the 2012 would'nt be out till march or april.

Lol, have thought that many times. Have you checked with your dealer if they know about the VDC?
