Optima - where are they made now?
I have been reading on other American based forums that Optima have shifted their manufacturing to Mexico and they are not as good as they used to be. The Yanks are scathing of them actually...anyone here had any bad experiences yet?

Hi guys, This is great gear, kit, I've had 7 batt's - 4 engines - 2 GP hydros - run 46 times and had a fire and they still go strong without fail in my books. We run 16v diifferent gear in world titles.
It's great if you can get them on all your small plant. NOTE WELL: They do have to be charged with the correct charger READ your type. GAL ? . These charge controlled chargers do get hot and should be watched.
Regards
Kel
