Auto converter Lock switch

G'day all
I have a 90 Safari with the series one box and a 24 volt system. I would like to fit a converter lock switch such as what Chaz has from www.chaz.yellowfoot.org but will it work on a series one box and being 24 volt. It looks like it should work to me with all the electric bits changed for 24 v. Anyone fitted one to a series one?

My 24v Nissan has a problem with the24-12v converter when it stops working gear box(auto) plays up,Speedo and radio stop and start together, which leads me to believe the gearbox runs on 12 volt

When I installed mine many years ago I isolated which wire fed the lock up switch and ran a multi meter connected to it. Volts were on the low side of 12v. Maybe you can do the same and if less than 12v you can steal the input power from radio.
