2021 Y62 Cruise Control Drops Out at about 100km/h

Hi all, Had a quick scan through the forum faults regarding cruise control but there is nothing recent on the 2021 Y62. The problem is that the cruise control will not stay engaged at about 100km/h on the flat, with or without the caravan on the hook!! Very frustrating, particularly when towing the van. Any thoughts from the brain's trust? Thanks Allan

Do you have parking sensors? Maybe one of these faulty/ dirty??? I'd assume these sensors would shut down the CC if you came to close to an object.

    All I got sorry.

The other thing that could be happening is one of the sensors that cancel the cruise control (brake pedal, gear selection or cruise cancel button) have something fouling and causing incorrect signalling.

I know from experience in my GU 3 the rubber sensor stopper on the brake pedal disintegrated (a little pad that a push switch engaged with when foot was off the brake) and I could activate cruise control, but not set a speed at all as it thought the brake was engaged.
