Don't think there was a topic, so there's one now.
Time to give this welder a bit of a run.
Cut up a heap of steel at work this morning. First project was a gill for the spit.
Next is a bench to replace the rotten timber one that knocked down. Pics to come.

Found some r&d rejects in the bin. Another gill tomorrow and a hit with the grinder and some heat resistant paint and we have a nice little grill for two..
3mm walls and 6 mm base.

Don't know if I can. Material is smooth flat (don't know the correct term) don't think it's porous. Idea is to throw some heat beads in and a gill on top. Paint is only to pretty up the outside.

Bloody lovely! . . Been busy making the most of lockdown in the garden this year and finally getting all the drainage sorted in the drive as our place always ends up with a lake after a good downpour. . Amazing how much fill comes out of the trenches so knocked over a couple of other jobs too. . Ran a heap of fill down for next year's job fixing the dam, but also re did area used for a burn pile. Have a good amount of land but most being pretty steep every little bit of flat land is worth its weight in gold lol. . Leveled good area with access down to it. . . Sooo good can back a ute down or perfect to load with little Vermeer beats do'n stuff by hand
