    4.5 Leak

    Hey,

My 4.5 1998 patrol is leaking from " i suspect " the front crank seal.

I have no issues with changing this, but has anyone tackled this problem before?

Whats the best puller that will fit in there, and will i even need a puller ?

How do i hold the harmonic balancer to tension up and bolt? What tension do i use ? Do i use loctite?

Where can i get a sleeve incase the harmonic surface is damaged ?

    Thanks for any help...

    Check this thread; http://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forum...ont+crank+seal

The bolt tension will be in the manual that you now have. Definately use Loctite.
Most bearing supply companies will be able to get speedy sleeves for you if required.
