Cool gu front diff/mq rear diff

Hi all, just wanting to know will the mq rear lsd centre which is 31 spline fit into my 1998 gu 2.8td front diff which is a 233b 31 spline,as well as fitting my gears on it, and am i better off putting manual hubs on instead of the auto hubs. Thanks peter.

It is very likely that the LSD will fit, the H223b bits usually interchange very easily. If I can convince Tim (Finly) to remove one of his MK rear diffs I'll be able to trail fitting the LSD it to a spare GQ front diff centre I have.

If you have access to manual hubs definately fit them.

Tim was kind enough to remove a rear diff from one of his old MK's (it's a wonder he's even talking to me after I backed into his car last night!) so hopefully next week I will have time to strip it down and answer the question.
