    Hmmmmm, I call bullsh*t!

$28 per night for what should be $5

$28 per night regardless of whether you are on your own or a family group of six.

$28 per night for minimal facilities - a long drop.

And I’m not suggesting more or upgraded facilities are required. Instead of price gouging a bit less than the previous government & crowing about ‘slashing’ prices, Victoria should look to the Northern Territory who manage to make visitors feel far more welcome at low cost for basic camps.

Dont know what you lot are complaining about, we've had to pay to camp at some national parks for years, $10 per adult and approx $2.50 per child each night

In SA it costs $190 for a 12 month Park Pass.
Allows entry into all National Parks plus camping for up to 5 night at a time.
    This pass is per vehicle.
Drop toilets and even some showers in some of the most popular spots.

Fee's are for the upkeep of everything in the area. Roads, flora and rubbish collection just to name a few. I dont mind paying a few dollars for this. id rather that than having entire areas shut down...
What's a road? and take your damn rubbish with you, you tossers.

Stop selling Fourbies (and bikes, and guns) to Gumbies, and all our natural areas will be full of lovely greenery and animals.

Is it fair that we have to pay taxes, stamp duty on cars and houses, is it fair that the price of a barrel of oil is low but our cost of fuel doesn't reflect that. ....... of course it isnt fair but you pay if you want to go to those places

Some camping fees scrapped for victoria

Victoria 's park fees are a rip off. I remember when I took my wife to Vic a few years back (circa 2005) and showed her around (expat Victorian). Hanging Rock for example wanted $25 entry fee.. Last time I was there in the early nighties, it cost nothing.

Halls gap state park was $40 a night for a couple.
The bloody caravan park only charged $28. Or $32 for a powered site..
