    TB42 All Motor

Hey all been talking to a lad on another forum who may be helping me through an all motor build on my TB42.

If anyone has done this before or can help me out with any niggling issues that I may come across when doing such a thing your help would be much appreciated.

Will basically be doing the following:

    TB42 bathed cleaned and checked
    Head bathed cleaned and checked
    New bearings/seals/gaskets throughout
Shaved block/head compression ratio of around 10:1
    Shot peened rods
    Upgraded cam/springs/rets
    XF throttle body
    Port matched to inlet/exhaust
headers and full exhaust, hi flo cat and mufflers
    Large injectors/pump (already in car)
    Haltech E6K tuned

    Hoping for around 150-160rwhp

    Thanks.

The only thing I can add at the moment is be careful running that much compression with a turbo. You will need to keep inlet air temps as low as possible with a BIG intercooler, and keep boost down to stop it pinging. Not as bad if you're running straight LPG.

OK, I assumed from your other thread this was the same motor you were turboing. I thought your RWHP estimate was a bit conservative for a turbo!
