Aussie Made Ovens and stuff! Awesome site
www.southernmetalspinners.com.au
What more can i say! Southern Metal Spinners are based in SA and it appears to be very very well priced!
I was searching specifically for a "Bedourie" style oven as a good friend has one and i have been very impressed with it a few times i have seen it. Light to carry and pack yet very very effective.
I think i will buy the Aussie Camp Oven 5 in 1 pack 3rd down on that page. looks great!
The Aussie windbreak looks great too. would be awesome behind the 2 burner in the high country!
Very impressed. been searching for a long time. Google Image is your friend! thats how i finally found these.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Had my Bedourie now over well 20 years, main difference is you need to half bury it to retain the heat.
Mine is the big oven so lid is great as fry pan also have a smaller, taller one for winter stews. I
usually do roast spuds in the Bedourie while other ovens do the roast, highly recommend.
Just remember to take Multi grips to lift lid etc

I wonder what thickness the material is? I'm guessing not as thick as cast.
What size are you looking at MR?

Bedouries have been around for years, originally the stockmen were sick and tired of breaking cast iron camp ovens all the time,
So they came up with the spun steel jobs, will cook the same as cast iron, except you need to half bury them to retain the heat.
There is the story of Bedourie ovens somewhere, makes interesting reading. IMO
As for wind break I purchased one for my canister style stove, but for $8 and a carry bag seemed like good value
