Safe psi setting?
Hey guys,
I recently bought a 2003 4.2 intercooled turbo diesel Gu ute and at the moment my turbo is pushing 9 psi and i was wondering what a good but safe amount to go up to would be?
Also i am after a 3 inch exhaust, any ideas? brands, places to buy from?
Thanks.

Patrol God
Safe on the standard setup would be about 14 psi as anything beyond that the turbo I out of its efficiency range and starts creating excessive heat.
As for exhausts beaudesert is generally the pick prove is the norm and service is always good.

G'evening mate!
I agree with nissannewby, 3inch and a good tune would be a good start! What do you want to use your Patrol for? ie, towing or just touring around the traps!
