GU Patrol Heater Fan only works on high

I have recently purchased a 1998 GU 2.8TD ST Wagon (my 3rd Patrol), for some unknown reason to me the heater fan only works on high, has anyone else experienced this fault before?

It needs a new fan speed resistor, reasonably common fault and not just on Patrols.

Welcome to the forum, pop over to the introductions thread and tell us a bit about yourself, your Patrol and where you're from.

pull the resistor pack out (passenger side foot well, 2 screws and it should slide out, You most likely see that the fusible link is blown.
