GU 2.8 Turbo Diesel oil change.

Hi, just wondering how often my engine should be flushed to get rid of the sludge if any, have owned the car since 250,000klms and have changed oil every 5k since, it is now on 282,000 and due for a change soon, before I go for a run to NSW from QLD. Should this be something that is done every oil change, if so what would be the best additive to use to "desludge".

you don't need to but you could always put in some liquimoly engine detox to clean out the "sludge". i've used it before and my oil stayed cleaner for a few weeks
