    Cool Mt Disappointment State Forest (25 August)

    I just decided I need to get out there tomorrow.
    Anybody spontaneously up for a drive?

    History lesson: it was named after either Hume or Hovell [ I think ]
    hiked to the top hoping to see views of Melbourne, upon arrival at
    the summit he said thats "disappointing" and the name stuck.
    however after the Black Saturday fires you could see Melbourne from the summit,
    front page of Herald/sun

    Some slippery slopes up there... Was good to see the 4WD work a bit even though I was second winner on two tracks.
    That clay takes a while to wash off...
