That sinking feeling....

Love the Patrol, a GU model with a build date of 06/02 but I can't help getting that sinking feeling when I read all the stories of dodgy, grenading motors. This causes me to question my decision to buy the car, you know, 'have a made the right decision' 'should I have waited' etc etc.

The info on this site gives me comfort though because now I know the 'grenade' thing can be avoided.

I am looking forward to putting the NADS on the truck, and hopefully it keeps me out of the poop.

Yep, get onto it ASAP mate, and clean out that manifold, your eyes will just about fall out of your head when you look inside it and the intercooler.

NADS stands for Nissan Anti Detonation System. Do a search and you'll find lots of threads:-)
