How to instal adjustable swaybar links?

Hi guys I have bought a set of two to eight inch adjustable swaybar links and am wondering how to instal them, do I need to cut the extra thread off or do I just turn them down as far as they go and fit them up, my std bushes are cactus so need to get it done ASAP before it does any damage. Cheers

well for everyones info, cut the threads down and fitted them up,they do need the extra thread cut off to sit correctly.
