    Pillar Pods on a Ti?

Hi... well I splashed out the $$ for a 2007 Patrol and am looking at options for commencing the build-up.

My first thoughts are to add EGT and Boost gauges and a few days searching has recommended "Pillar Pods" to mount them.

    My question i this,

my Ti has little tweeter speakers in the pillars. Have other Ti owners mounted the gauges elsewhere or just removed the speaker?

I removed the tweeter and the plastic grille that covered it.
Can't hear any difference in music quality (but I am 67 years old :-))

You can get a gauge pod that sits on top of the steering column, then you could leave the factory tweeters in place.
