diffs to suit MQ
Hi guys, got some questions. My MQ is finally on the road and I found the rear diff noisy and on its way out, checked front one and it is completely stuffed so I am after front and rear diffs to suit .I am after a little bit higher gearing. It has a sd33 with a 4 speed and 15inch rims with desert dueler tyres. At 60k I keep looking for a 5th gear because I feel like its rev ving too high .question is ,will only mq diffs suit and what sort of ratios would be best?I havent pulled the driveshaft out (either)to know what ratio is in it but I'm assuming its standard .
any help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks ,ken.

Kenny You need to keep same paired ratios together. SD33 always did feel asif they needed the 5th gear. The 5 speedtook care of that problem. You could just go up to 235/85/16 on 16"rims and that would help highway travel.

There should be a compliance plate in the corner of the engine bay behind the drives side headlight on the inner guard. It'll have a diff code on it, mine says H46 which means it's got a H260 diff & 4.6 gears.
