mk/mq body transplant tutorial?
As per my title, and if I could get my friggen photos loaded, have a MQ and a MK wagon in my double garage in parts..wife REALLY LOVES that. Wanting to transplant the MQ shell onto the MK chassis and wondering if anyone has done that (stupid question I know) and if there are pretty pics to look at.
Am NOT mech trained but DO have mech aptitude (means you'll get a blank stare if you say the part name but point me to it and I can work it out to strip and assemble it). Parts in NZ are scarce (my Diesel manual took 4 weeks to arrive..petrol I've been given no time) so have put 1yr aside to get my tank on the road. In saying that if there are alternates to use as parts (from the GQ and later) please let me know

To me the only difference is cosmetic, so body will just swap over, no problems.
Cheers

So true if one knew what he was doing lol Logic tells me I need to disconnect the fuel lines, steering however unsure on how to do it. Body is from a Diesel and the chassis it's going to has a petrol motor. SO does that mean I keep the petrol fuel lines or just flush out the diesel lines? As I said, I'm quite a noivce
