    Rear Bar/Tyre Carrier

    Hi,
Im in need/want of a rear bar for my GQ patrol. Was wondering whether anyone had some good pics of theirs, especially any with gas tanks also to give me some ideas.
Im heading towards a custom made bar and was wondering whether anyone could point me in the direction of someone who could build me one, Im in Perth.

    Cheers.

Just for reference i want to carry a 35inch tyre on the back and 2+ jerry cans (crap petrol fuel economy). The car has a body lift and i am planning on doing a quarter chop also to fit the bar.

That is a good idea. i would prefer to get the tyre off the door altogether though as it is very heavy when i have the door open and i cant open and shut just the small LHS door because the tyre fouls on the door and gets in the way. I am also worried about breaking the RHS rear tail light lens as the tyre hits that also when the large door is open.

hey Shorty, have a look at XLR8's vendor thread RIGHT HERE...... his website can be accessed from his first post. He does some top work mate and alot of custom jobs, so may be worth giving him a bell. Let him know you found him through the forum.

    Cheers
