Cruise control gone !!

G'day folks,

After my 97 GU Patrol went for a swim , I lost the Auto gear box and cruise control. Have got the gear box issue sorted with a new brain (ECU) fitted, and now car goes forward and backward

But I don't have cruise control still - the light comes on at the switch when it is triggered. But it won't set and no cruise light on the dash.
Can anybody out there point me in the right direction.

Is it a genuine cruise control?

Does the horn still work? Do the stop lights work? Have you checked all fuses?

The genuine cruise control module is mounted in the RHS kick panel (I believe) this may have water in it as well.
