Silicon lasts longer and does not swell from oils etc.
Everything looks fine and had 2 different mechanics check the front end over. One adjusted one side wheel bearing but made no difference.
Wheel alignment twice in the last 12 months ... each time...
The rear barn doors as well as the driver's door have all sagged.
Is there a way of adjusting them?
My '99 GU get a front end shake between 80 and 90 km/h.
Had wheels balanced and rotated - a couple of trips to different mechanics - can't find a fault with the front end.
Starts right on 80 km/h....
I'm after a full set of SILICON hoses - radiator and heater - for my 2.8.
Any idea where I can get some?
Had some issue with auto hubs on 99 GU.
Did the quick mod myself ... took about 30 minutes or so for both hubs. Now "lock" is lock and "auto" is off.
Never had an issue since.
Teenage kids!!!!
Much thanks for your insight.
Regards.
Awesome advice. Will do the rest of the plugs. Do I need to remove exhaust manifold to get at welch plugs?
Thanks heaps for all yr info ... yes it is a 30mm plug.
Admired the piece of skin hanging off the end of the timing belt tensioner spring .... yes the skin had previously been attached to the back of my hand!!!!!
Vehicle is a '99 Patrol. Bought it with a water leak already. Runs smooth and no exhaust or oil in water and no water in oil so no sign of any overheating damage.
Hi There,
