I've been using the Pro Gear 75w-85 from penrite for years.
What ever you choose, it must be a GL-4.
GL-5 jams the syncros in a GQ manual transmission.

The 4.2's defiantly need a gl-4 oil in their manual transmissions!

I've been using penrite 75-85 full synthetic for years, makes it a pleasure to drive and my GQ has just gone over 400,000kms....

I use a 2000kg trolley jack and it lifts my Patrol easily. I use 5 ton axle stands for height/clearance.
Got them from TradeTools ages ago.
