Too heavy steel for a heat shield bracket. Bracing for the stat housing cast pipe maybe?
Next was to make up a new bracket to hold the Rear Anderson plugs and a few 12v lecky bits for the rear as previously it was all zip tied up to the cargo barrier....
So the old barn door trims were looking a bit second hand so I decided to make my own.
Came up pretty good I think.

Definitely use both mate. I had to fab up a bracket as the one on the tank didn't match up to the Patrol. As you can see in my pics....
Im wondering if cooling the fuel affects the injector performance as the fuel surface tension/ thickness/ runnyness is not going to be, normal?
Can you raise the temps for the fuel? Or shut it off completely to test run it so the fuel is at ambient temp? Your theory does sound plausible...
Could you run a temporary test light as such, to the solenoid and run the vehicle. If theres intermittent power to the solenoid the light should go off an on aswell. Dunno. my knowledge is very...

Do you have parking sensors? Maybe one of these faulty/ dirty??? I'd assume these sensors would shut down the CC if you came to close to an object.
All I got sorry.
Phil if the filter used is P581682, thats a 9mic filter. A wee bit too fine to be first cab off the rank to see fuel from the tank. This is probably why its clogged. But you got that back in 2022 so...
