My idle speed was always about 950 rpm and I adjusted the base idle down to 600rpm. Now it randomly jumps from 600 to 1000rpm. Worse still clutch in and select gear it revs high....change...

The trackers can be jammed or removed within minutes with the right tools. Sadly those tools are cheap and available.
