Passenger side stiffener plate fabricated and installed, slightly shorter due to the cross bar mount, finished it off with the body deadener, yeah came up the same as previous, more cosmetic work to...

So even with the dead vacuum pump replaced, new booster, cylinder etc the clutch still felt very wrong, like crushing an unopened coke can. I went to a very reputable clutch shop in Western Sydney...

I am also still around. Dealing with two jobs and a lot of simultaneous life issues to deal all at once, which is leading to very few time wrenching the Patrol. There is light on the end of the road...

A few years back I posted that 3 very close friends were diagnosed with cancer.
2 out of the 3 have now passed, a year and a week apart both 51 years old, one leaving behind 3 kids 23, 21 and 19....

Still pop in regularly.

Step 6: Door Cards.

So I had to change a door Latch out and when I got the door card off I noticed a couple of interesting things:

Started on the drivers side rear chassis stiffener plate. Its 200 x 6, welded to the outside of the chassis rail via dia 50mm hole saw holes, at both ends and stitched along the top. I will stitch...

Possibly tyres developing flat spots? Not wear spots but just out-of-round, particularly with ageing tyres. Happens mostly if left standing for a few days. They round out with the exercise and a bit...
