If you type in Accessibility in the windows search and choose keyboard there a few settings in there worth checking out mate.

The connection underneath the key might've broken somehow Plassy.

Have you plugged a usb keyboard in to see if that works, just to make sure its the actual arrow key on your laptop not working and...

Unfortunately it looks to be the regulator which was expected.

Very lucky in hindsight as ive been driving it to work recently to ensure its reliability before the big trip so thats bloody lucky...

Like Dazz said my money is on regulator.

It happened in Toolangi when I first got the Gq and my battery looked like a balloon!
