I wouldn't trust A filter won't stop water Regardless of sales pitch, if the breather just runs straight down there's only one way the waters going to go. I've had water above my bonnet and my scoop...

Sounds like your batteries are boiling over and your smelling the sulferic acid. Check your paintwork when the batteries are out. You may need to do some touch ups if they have leaked

We use a 15 ltr bucket , a 4kg bottle fits inside that easily and then the bucket goes in the bottle holder.
Just put some hose on the bottom of the bottle or some rubber inside the bucket or it...

Once you get the hang of it you will be sweet, but you do have to do minor adjustments when swapping from the blacktop to sand or the trailer will dig in.
