Finally got the snorkel fitted I just need to fix the hole and the bottom of the hole where the safari snorkel was before but for now it's all good.

I run Nulon longlife in a 50/50 mixture. Change every 2 years..
Ran it for 8 years in my TB45 engine and now use the same in my TD42T.

I just purchased a adapter from Bursons to suit the unused hole in thermostat housing, $7.
sure it was 12.5mm (male) x 1/4 npt (female) , to suit new VDO gauge.
