I have an alert for coolant set at 95°C. Reason why you have Fan on/off instead of boost is because GU2/3 ECUs don't support boost (MAP) sensor readout. Only from GU4 series onwards.

New motor and nads straight up there is no reason the engine will go boom. Under boosting( thanks to the ecu's amazing job of controlling it) causing extreme cylinder temps mixed with hot and dirty...
For ZD30 the most important ones are all of them.
XX°C is Coolant temp very useful as factory display gauge is useless,
Fuel Temperature (FT) very useful as VP44 likes to cook so over...
