I agree with taslucus I've got an old kdx250 (93) 2 banga, my mate with the xr400 would cruse up hills where I was ringin my bikes neck. And he's nearly twice my weight

Don't no if that's normal as I've never tried. If you are getting limp mode you need to back your Dawes valve off. With your needle valve you set it up while idling so the turbo actuator just moves...

Fitted egr plate, needle and Dawes valve. Also an intercooler that's been welded up to replace my leaking one. Just wanted to say a very big thank you to Mudski you are a champion.

I agree mudski, I think the best way to go is to get a bigger after market dump pipe, weld the threaded boss in before you start. I'm not sure what size to go to, maybe 3"? Or the cost of getting one.
