I definitely needed it for my GU with a 2 inch lift, before I made a bracket the dam thing would not stop,
after I put the bracket on it was much better.

I have not ever heard of brake proportioning valve bracket being needed for a 2" lift.
I wouldn't stuff around with your brakes unless you know 100% what youre doing, take it to a brake joint to...

Bias Bracket is on top of the rear diff which connects to a spring which connects to the load L.S.V ( Load Sensing Valve ), the info below my pics is for a GU but is same on the GQ's

You may find your patrol is earthed in different places like engine bay, dash , cabin , passenger and cargo area.

I just adjusted my speedo on the GQ dash. I was sick of it reading 8km low at 100km.
Instructions.
Pull the cluster out -
You need to drill a hole in the TOP WHITE part of the cluster...

I picked it up tonight Kallen, looks good mate. There is a small tear near the mount which will take you about 10minutes and a single weld run to fix mate. Happy days.

Tuning it just remember unleaded fuel leaves black soot in the exhaust system, it wont turn grey like the old super petrol did.
if the exhaust system is a large diameter it can draw-in via exh tip...

Lilydale is a bit of a drive but if he can wait a few weeks i can go for a drive and have a look for you.

If there is a slight build up of milky residue on the oil cap that would be from condensation, if the oil level on the dipstick is rising and the color of the oil has a latte type of look to the oil...
