As threedogs pointed out, under the roof rack is the best option and offers as much protection as possible.
In terms of wind resistance, I would be more concerned about the roof rack than a light...

Currently available in 10" with a full selection of 6,10,20,30,40 & 50" arriving shortly. Very similar specs to the Aurora LED light...

In short, the difference between the Aurora's and a lot of the cheaper light bars is..

More lumens per watt than most other...
