I have put my spare up on the ute roof rack before mate but it is a mid size rack being an extra cab and the mini standard ute racks may not fit a decent diameter spare? I just found it way too top...

The stock main tank (rear tank) on the leaf sprung variants we’ve had are some 50-75mm higher up than the coil variants and can really only fit pizza cutter spare tyres under there. My series 1 coily...

depending on the tyre size and if you have a Sub Tank i think? they will go between the chassis rails under the tray.

The heater control unit has two cables running to either side of the heater box. Plus and electrical cable plugged into it.
Yeah mine came apart real easy. spray some crc or similar on it....
